Managing stress is Critical! Stress hormones will disrupt production & function of all of your steroid hormones, including your most valuable hormone, Progesterone!

IF MY SYMPTOMS INCREASE AFTER I START MY CREAM, WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

FIRST

When first using Body-Identical Progesterone Cream a few women may initially experience an increase in symptoms. These are not caused by Progesterone! They are, however, a clear message from your body that you need to re-establish optimal levels of progesterone in relation to estrogen. Your body wants to heal!

So, then, why did my symptoms increase?

When a woman’s body has too much estrogen, relative to insufficient progesterone, her body will de-sensitize estrogen receptors (all hormones plug in to receptor sites, the same way a key plugs into a lock). Therefore, these excess estrogens are blocked from occupying the receptor and cannot trigger symptoms. However, these excess estrogens are still harmful to a woman’s health, as increase her risk for female-specific cancers, osteoporosis & heart disease.

When you bring back your master hormone, Progesterone, your body thinks it is okay to wake up the estrogen receptors. Now, the excess estrogens plug in and trigger the symptoms of estrogen dominance.

Due to the broad protective/beneficial properties of Body-Identical Progesterone, once again, this response is a clear message from your body that you need to establish optimal levels of progesterone, as this will protect you from so many female health problems.

If you are one of those women, what is best remedy?

Simply reduce the amount of cream to a level that is comfortable for you, and gradually return to a normal dose, perhaps over a 3-10 day time.  This condition is only temporary. As your body adjusts the re-introduction of your “Master” hormone, you will achieve an optimal balance and the symptoms caused by oestrogen dominance will ameliorate, as well as the risk factors from too much estrogen unique to women.

SECOND

It is also vitally necessary to identify and avoid all environmental estrogens, as they interfere with the production and utilization of your body’s natural hormones! And, they are one of the primary underlying causes of estrogen dominance! (see #2 & 3 above)

There are no reported short or long term side effects to using Serenity Organics, Body-Identical Progesterone Cream. – Too much estrogen, however, can cause irregular cycles and retention of old blood, leading to endometriosis, not to mention increasing your risk for female-specific cancers.

Because Body-Identical Progesterone has a normalizing effect on the menstrual cycle, it can initially promote the shedding of old blood. This shedding is very desirable as stored blood can increase the risk of endometriosis & endometrial cancer.

If you have experienced the above, before you consider discontinuing normalizing your master hormone, this is the time to evaluate the long-term consequences of “estrogen dominance and compare to the myriad of benefits furnished by Body-Identical Progesterone.
