If you still have a monthly cycle (puberty to age 50-51):

The first day of your period is Day 1.  Begin using your cream on day 14; stop on day 28 or when your period starts again.  If you have a severe imbalance, you may use double the suggested amount for the first month, however, do not use your cream during the estrogen phase of the month (days 1-13) and do not be deceived by the suggestion that 100-400 mg/day is correct.

If no longer have a have a monthly cycle (age 50-51 or hysterectomy):

Use your cream 25-26 consecutive days per month; discontinue use for 5-6 days (important!).  If you have a severe imbalance, you may use double the suggested amount for the first month, however, do not neglect the 5-6 day “time-out“.

note: avoid environmental estrogens

Is Progesterone Cream Safe?

Body-identical, USA made, progesterone, in an all plant-based cream, has a history of safety & effectiveness. There are almost 50 years backing the safe use of body-identical progesterone in a plant-based cream. These results are from women who observed proper physiological doses & worked in harmony with the body’s natural rhythms. (see “When do I Use Progesterone?” for more info)

With that said, women who mistakenly used a higher than what her body makes in a healthy state, found this is not sustainable and, in time, leads to acute hormone imbalance (estrogen dominance). More is Not Better when supplementing hormones. The dosages and timing of when we recommend usage, parallel the body’s natural rhythms and support hormone balance.

When first starting body-identical progesterone cream,  a small percentage of women, may experience a few short term side-effects as your body is not adjusting to your most beneficial, master hormone. Even though this is rare, it’s still good news, as your body is giving you feedback that the progesterone is working! Just remember that body-identical progesterone isn’t adding anything synthetic or artificial to your body, it’s restoring what should be there naturally.

How to Achieve Best Results with Progesterone Cream

Can my daughter use this cream?

Serenity benefits all women from the age of puberty for life…

Can Men Use Serenity?

Yes! A man’s body uses progesterone to make testosterone. If a man is Low-P, then he will also be Low-T.

Additionally, progesterone blocks the production of an enzyme called 5-AR (increased levels are the result of the aging process). Why does this matter? 5-AR converts a man’s valuable, needed natural testosterone to DHT. This, in turn, promotes baldness and an increase in PSA.
